It’s the latest BUGA’s product. Our recipe masters were able to create a unique combination. Caramelized onions with pomegranates give the sauce a fresh, sweet and sour taste, suitable for more than just cheeses. Perfect with fish and meat. Incredibly delicious with burgers.

Tropical Chutney

BUGA’s Tropical Chutney is made with juicy tropical mangoes, kiwifruits and pineapples highlighted by hot chili. Morsels of fruit pleasantly vary in taste and tickle the palate.
Perfect for a variety of cheeses, especially white (for example cottage cheese), fried cheese. It will also give an exotic and sweeter taste to various pancakes. Can be used with poultry, lamb, veal dishes or even roasted vegetables.

Mango Chutney

This sauce originates from India – the kingdom of spices. Moderately spicy, refreshingly sweet and sour. In this sauce, the combination of mango, onion, pepper, turmeric and lemon is perfectly revealed. Very suitable for cheeses, chicken, fish (herring, salmon). This tangy, tasty condiment is a perfect dip, snack decoration or accompaniment to grilled chicken, fish, pork, or lamb.

Best served with cheese or poultry. Goes well with meat and appetizers.

BBQ Pomegranate GLAZE

Moderately spicy, intense, refreshing sweet-sour taste. Thick, stick well on baked surfaces. It is enough to cover only once to bring out the flavor.
Most commonly used for glazing meat, fish, vegetables, grilled or baked. It can also be used as a sauce to the mentioned products, cheeses.

Piri Piri Sauce

Portuguese sauce. Extra spicy and refreshing. Slightly sour, with a lot of spices. This sauce is mostly used for chicken. A very popular dish in Portugal – PIRI PIRI chicken – fried chicken pieces are rolled in this sauce and served.

Chili Vegetable Sauce / Grandma’s Adzhika

Chili Herb Sauce with a twist! A tad milder than the Herb Sauce, Chili Vegetable Sauce combines salty hotness with the freshness of
vegetables to make for a one of a kind taste. Best used as a sauce it will just as well compliment a meal as a condiment.
Goes well with almost anything. Ideal with grilled meat or cold snacks, can be used as a sauce to go with fish.

Chili Herb Sauce / Caucasian Adzhika

A hot and salty sauce and condiment for the true fans of the world cuisine. Though its taste is not for the weak hearted, Chili Herb Sauce rewards the curious gourmet with exceptional results. Chili Herb Sauce is based on a staple of the Caucasian cuisine – the ajika, that has centuries-old traditions and is immensely popular in Caucasus and Eastern Europe.

Ajika means ‘salt’ in the Abkhaz language. In the ancient Caucasus shepherds were given salt to feed it to the sheep which made them thirsty and forced to eat more grass. The shepherds would sometimes steal the salt – to prevent theft, the owners started to mix the salt with dried hot pepper. However, this did not stop the shepherds – they added various herbs (dill, parsley, coriander, garlic, etc.) and water to the mix and thus ajika was created. In time the mix became an inseparable part of Caucasian cuisine.

There is no single original recipe of ajika and there cannot be one as every village makes it in their own unique way. Traditionally, dried hot pepper was used to make ajika. However, ajika made with freshly ground pepper was considered to be of much higher quality. This is exactly what we offer – our product is made using fresh ground hot pepper.
